As EPIC’s private pilot, you will possess professionalism, strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety and situational awareness, and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, often in stressful situations.

This Pilot-in-Command (PIC) position provides a terrific opportunity for pilots seeking to build their flight time and/or those seeking a better work-life balance with very few weekends away from home.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as Pilot-in-Command for a Cirrus SR22 bringing company team members and cargo to various locations in the Midwest.
  • Organize and schedule all aircraft maintenance records including all aircraft logbooks.
  • Schedule rental cars and other transportation as required.
  • Performing pre- and post-flight inspections of fuel, equipment, and navigational systems.
  • Determining the safest routes and analyzing flight plans prior to takeoff.
  • Monitoring weather conditions and calculating fuel.
  • Communicating with air traffic control during flights.
  • Keeping up to date with aircraft advancements and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Commercial certificate
  • High-performance endorsed
  • IFR current

*Cirrus IFR advanced transition course will be provided upon hire.
