Join us on Thursday, November 10, from 4:30-7:00PM for an open house showcasing the upcoming condos available at ENVY at The Lights in West Fargo and The Arch in downtown Fargo. Make your way over to the first floor of ENVY at The Lights to learn all about each property, what the condos have to offer, and tour an available unit. Enjoy drinks and snacks and enter for a chance to win door prizes throughout the evening.

ENVY at The Lights is scheduled to open 2023

ENVY is scheduled to open in winter of 2023. The condo units feature high-end finishes including custom cabinets, stone countertops, fireplaces, and personal balconies. Enjoy the building amenities such as, a community room that faces the Essentia Health Plaza, fitness room, 24/7 micro-market, secured mail room, private condo entrance and elevator, underground heated parking, pet area, and car wash station. The Lights has become a staple in the West Fargo community offering concerts, rodeos, theater performances, hockey rink, and much more!

The Arch is expected to be completed in the fall of 2023

The Arch condos, located in downtown Fargo, are expected to be complete in late fall, 2023. This building, like ENVY, is a mixed-use space including commercial space, apartments, and three floors of condos. The condo units are built with open-concept kitchen, walk-in closets, a variety of floorplans to pick from and has exceptional views of the Red River and downtown Fargo!

After picking out your brand-new, high-end condo, whether it be at ENVY or The Arch, comes the very exciting (and perhaps sometimes daunting) task of decorating your new home! From accentuating throw pillows to attention grabbing décor, it can get overwhelming! Read on to learn more about three of today’s top interior decorating trends to help make your new home “you”.

Colors

What is perhaps the most crucial step of your decoration journey is also the very first: deciding on the colors you’ll use inside your new home. Picking the correct colors helps set the tone or mood for each room in your home. According to Better Homes & Gardens, the top color for 2022 is green. Many paint companies, such as Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and others, have named a shade of green as a top color choice for the year. And it’s no coincidence that after being stuck inside for 2 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, homeowners are leaning toward a color that has strong associations with nature: lush grass, trees, forests, etc. An attempt to bring the outdoors indoors. The color green is also often described as a tranquil and refreshing color bringing good luck, good health, and better wealth your way.

Other popular interior colors are warmer shades of neutral white, greige (a combination of grey and beige), and soothing tranquil tones. These colors create cozy, inviting atmospheres and are commonly seen in living and family rooms as well as kitchens and dining rooms.

Layers & Textures

Incorporating a variety of textures and layers throughout your space can help achieve that cozy feeling in your new home. According to South Carolina interior designer Caroline Brackett, “anything furry, nubby, or cozy” has been popular this year. Incorporating faux fur throw pillows or blankets along with a boucle armchair can really increase the cozy level in your space. A variety of materials including natural stone, leather, wood, and metal can also be used to help achieve the look and feel you’re aiming for. Wall textures such as lime-washing and paint products to mimic plaster finishes have proven to be popular choices in 2022 when designing the interior of your home.

Mixing Vintage with Modern

Instead of heading to the big box furniture stores, many homeowners are perusing local thrift and vintage stores in search of one-of-a-kind pieces for their spaces. Utilizing both modern and vintage features in your space helps to create a personalized touch to your home. According to The Spruce, an online resource offering tips to help create your best home, the most liveable spaces are those that can’t be pinned to a specific era or decade but integrate elements from the history and/or design of the home.

Many are also finding vintage-sourced décor and furniture to be a more eco-friendly alternative to manufactured options since the items are being repurposed. The rise in vintage shopping compared to purchasing new furniture is also due in part to supply-chain disruptions and backorders, vintage and thrift shopping is more desirable than ever.

It’s no doubt that purchasing your high-end condo at ENVY or The Arch is exciting to begin with, but actually making it feel like home through your personal interior design and décor will bring that excitement up to the next level.
