UNITE by EPIC Groundbreaking Ceremony Planned for Thursday, June 29th

UNITE is a master-planned mixed-use development that will be the third phase of Gateway Center in Fargo, ND. This development will be a 7-story building that includes main level commercial space, underground parking, and housing units on the upper floors. EPIC’s goal for this project is to create outdoor and indoor public spaces for the community to enjoy, uniting the cities of Moorhead, MN and Fargo, ND.
“UNITE is a project we have been excited to add to the growing downtown Fargo area and bring full circle our Gateway Center development. It will bring a variety of space to that side of downtown that will further enhance the accessibility of the area,” said McKenzy Braaten, Chief Communications Officer at EPIC Companies.

The ceremony will be held right on site at 234 Main Ave, Fargo, ND just to the east of Gateway by EPIC (310 Main Avenue). Speakers include Mayor Tim Mahoney, Children of Denis Olson – previous owner of the Gateway development and EPIC Companies representatives. There will be complimentary dessert and coffee served in the Gateway by EPIC community room following the groundbreaking ceremony.

We are excited to highlight some of the recreational and tourist opportunities in Fargo as this project is being built adjacent to trails along the river and within a short distance to the center of Downtown Fargo,” said Mayor Tim Mahoney.
EPIC Companies had won an RFP for this land from the City of Fargo for 1 2nd St S, Fargo back in 2022. Construction will begin this summer and will conclude in the spring of 2025. UNITE will house 16 condos, 30 apartments, 18,000 square feet of commercial space, interior parking and public community space.
